Dove Lake Cicuit Walk

Focusing on Cradle Mountain, temperate rainforests and sub alpine plant communities. See Cradle Mountain in all its glory and learn about the action of past glaciers on the landscape. The walk takes on completely different moods depending on the time of the day the walk is commenced and what season the walk is taken. An excellent introduction to the beauty that is to be encountered in the whole park and the nearby Walls of Jerusalem National Park. Near the bottom of the mountain the track passes through a typical Tasmanian rain forest.


Cradle Mountain Summit Climb

The Cradle Mountain Summit Climb is a must for the more adventurous. Join our guide for a day you will never forget. Hike and climb from the base in the Cradle Mountain National park to the summit of Cradle Mountain and enjoy lunch on 'top of the world' overlooking most of northwest Tasmania. Simply breathtaking. Don't forget your camera to capture your accomplishment along with the spectacular, panoramic views! The walk is of a hard grade (including some rock scrambling) so some fitness is srequired. A briefing is usually held in the Weindorfer Lounge the evening prior and it is recommended that those participating in the climb attend this briefing. (8 hours duration)


Lake St Clair Guided Walk

Lake St Clair is at the southern end of the world famous Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park and is part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. Carved out by ice during several glaciations over the last two million years, this is the deepest lake in Australia and the headwaters of the Derwent River, upon which the capital city of Tasmania is located. The walk takes around 3.5 to 4 hours walk and include a short boat trip, lunch and beverages.


Lake Dobson walk at Mount Field National Park (Guided)

Mt Field National Park is one of Tasmania's most loved national parks. The park has a wide variety of scenic features and wildlife and offers a great range of facilities for day visitors. Few other national parks in Australia offer such a diversity in vegetation, ranging from tall swamp gum forests and massive tree ferns at the base of the mountain, through rainforest along the Lake Dobson Road, to alpine vegetation at the higher elevations. The walk its self takes around 5 hours and incorporates a waterfall.


Freynicet National Park (Self guided walks)

Freycinet National Park has a series of wonderful bushwalks - many of which are part of Tasmania's Great Short Walks. Walking the Freycinet Peninsula Circuit your trip takes in both the Wineglass Bay and Hazard circuit Great Short Walks. Freycinet National Park is reached from the Tasman Highway. The Peninsula Circuit walk starts from the walking tracks car park about 4 kilometres further into the park from the Visitor Information Centre, which is near Coles Bay.
