Please be aware that you are responsible to ensure your passport and visa requirements are valid for travel to all countries. 

New Zealand

All travellers, with the exception of New Zealand and Australian passport holders, require either a visitors visa; or if holding a passport from a visa-waiver country (including USA, Canada, UK, European Union countries, Hong Kong, Singapore and some South American nations), will require an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). Visit: www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas to ensure you have the correct documentation for travel, or to apply for a visa.


All international visitors (except Australian & NZ passport holders) require a visa for entry into Australia. All visa applications must be made before arriving in Australia. The length of stay & purpose of visit will determine the visa required. Short stay holiday visas (up to 3 months) can be arranged electronically for most passport holders. Check www.eta.immi.gov.au for further details.

All visitors must carry a passport valid for the period of intended travel in to and out of Australia.


A valid passport is required. It must not expire for at least three months after your intended date of visit and you will require an onward ticket.


For all travel except any travel between 15 December – 06 January 

To confirm your package Luxury Adventures requires a deposit of 25% of the total package cost which is non refundable

 Full payment for the package is required 60 days before tour commencement. If a booking is made less than 60 days before tour commencement, then payment is required in full at the time of booking. 

All prices are quoted in NZ dollars unless otherwise specified. Prices include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 15%. Payment can be made by direct bank (telegraphic) transfers, or credit card. Payments made by credit card will incur a transaction fee of 2%.

All travel between 15 December – 06 January

Balance payment is due no later than 14 August. Where a booking is made after 14 August, the total trip cost is required at the time of booking. 


All year except any travel between 15 December – 06 January 

It is recommended that you take out travel insurance covering cancellation. 25% of the total cost of the package is in any event nonrefundable. In the event of a cancellation 30 to 59 days prior to tour commencement, we will refund 50% of the package price (excluding the 25% non refundable portion). In the event of a cancellation 29 days or less prior to tour commencement, there will be no refund. This cancellation policy is subject to change during peak season and special events, in this case you will be notified prior to confirmation of booking.

All travel between 15 December – 06 January

Cancellation received before 14 August: The client will forfeit the deposit along with any prepaid supplier charges that cannot be refunded

Cancellation received from 15 August: The client will forfeit their deposit and 100% of accommodation cost.

Cancellation received within 31 days of travel: The client will forfeit 100% of itinerary cost.

Limitation of Liability

We expect you to be honest with us in assessing your level of fitness and abilities. The activities you will be undertaking can be demanding and involve the risk of serious injury or death. There are other risks such as theft or damage to property. Luxury Adventures will not be responsible for any loss or injury whatsoever that you or parties associated with you may suffer. You and all members of your party will be required to sign a release form prior to commencement of tour activities.

Release Form

I hereby acknowledge that Luxury Adventures will not be responsible for any loss or injury (including death) that I may suffer as a result of taking a tour with Luxury Adventures. I agree to make no claim against Luxury Adventures arising out of the tour and I further agree that no third party may make a claim through me or on my behalf. The provisions of this release shall apply to Luxury Adventures, its directors, employees and agents. Should any dispute arise between the parties such dispute will be governed exclusively by the laws of New Zealand.
