First, I was overwhelmed with selecting where to go and what to do in New Zealand. Dee sent me many options and I could pick what we enjoy. She selected the pace and balanced it with the desire to see as much as possible. The length of the drive was considered and most stays were at least two nights. Every single detail was tended to and in perfect order. She did not miss a thing…lodging, car rental, flights, ferry tickets, phone numbers for cab drivers, excursions were all excellently planned including maps of where to be at what time. Dee even checked with tour operators to ensure we arrived! Within minutes of a flight cancellation she was assisting me with what to do and helped me think of options and got us a car rental at a time when they appeared to be all out! Luxury Adventures New Zealand thought of everything!They were very flexible and informative during the booking process. We opted to have a customized trip, and they provided a number of options that fit into our timeframe and desired locations. We are so so so glad that they recommended we hire a car. We saw so much more of the country this way. And, it was an adventure driving on the other side of the road! We were so grateful for the map directions to each location that was provided. We did not have cell phones or a GPS during our trip, so this was extremely helpful. We didn’t get lost once! Queenstown!!! We would have liked to spend more time there. The booking process was seamless. Upon arrival, they checked in to ensure we were settled and to see if there was anything they could do for us. They were available to book last minute excursions, dinner reservations, or anything. During our visit, we felt as though they truly wanted us to have an amazing time, and to leave the last minute changes or excursions for them to worry about. They provided driving directions for our entire stay. Next time we visit New Zealand (or Fiji or Cook Islands), we will definitely work with Luxury Adventures again.

I had a wonderful time in New Zealand – everything went so smoothly and to plan I would highly recommend flying between locations it saved hours. Horse riding in Hawks Bay was interesting, they practice ‘natural’ horsemanship and you ride without a ‘bit’ in the horse’s mouth, this was a completely new experience and very enjoyable. It’s hard to pick one thing. The sheer beauty of both NZ and Fiji were remarkable and most memorable as well as the friendliness of the people. Generally I don’t think Americans understand what New Zealand can offer in terms of beauty of scenery, quality of life (and food). The people are beyond friendly in Fiji – you really feel like part of the family there. This really was the epic trip I was hoping it would be and my wife was absolutely thrilled. This vacation was an absolute DREAM! I have been to many places around the world (Asia, Africa, North America, and Europe), but this was the BEST trip of my life. I stayed in contact with my travel agent through Whatsapp throughout the entire trip. It was incredible service. I was able to text at any time and received quick responses. The planning process was mostly through email. We spoke on the phone once initially to meet and to get a feel of each other on both ends. They went through 8 different itineraries until we got the perfect one to fit our wants and needs! EIGHT. If that’s not customer service and satisfaction, I don’t know what is!! Luxury Adventures worked so diligently with us, they were patient and flexible with our desires for this trip, and made it smooth and seamless. Our activities were SO MUCH FUN! We felt like we did so much, but it was the perfect amount of things to-do while also resting. Every other day we had an activity and then days of rest/exploring in between. Through Luxury Adventures we did Hobbiton, Horseback riding, Whale Watching, Glow Worms, and a Helicopter Ride! We did more on our own during our free days 🙂 The accommodations were wonderful! We chose to stay in lodges (B&B’s) throughout the trip, a PurePod, and ended our stay in a beautiful hotel. The lodges were homely and comfortable. Our favorite accommodation by far was the Kaikoura PurePod, for the view and the overall experience. Second choice was the Limetree Lodge due to how hospitable and sweet the employees were; their 6pm wine hour was a great extra special touch. Third choice was The Rees Hotel because nothing beat that view. We went home extremely satisfied with how our honeymoon turned out! We know one of the major reasons is because of how Luxury Adventures planned everything out for us. I told myself, I wanted a honeymoon that was stress-free and that’s exactly what I got! I have already been recommending Luxury Adventures to many, many friends! I want to give a special and sincere “THANK YOU” to Luxury Adventures for making our honeymoon dreams come true. Both Luxury Adventures were absolutely great in putting together our itinerary, with the South Island, NZ been so big and us wanting to see it all, they re- arranged our itinerary countless times to suit us and make sure we were satisfied, always so attentive! Once we arrived there they were in touch on a daily basis to ensure everything was good, it was so nice being in a foreign country to know that you can contact someone and any time or day. Was a fantastic honeymoon the mixture of luxury and adventures was just what we wanted and it definitely exceeded our expectations. It was also a nice change from having to organise a holiday, it was hassle free for us and all we needed to do was pack and arrive at our destination, the rest was sorted by them! The accommodations were outstanding ~ each place was extremely beautiful, sophisticated and very unique. The views of the lakes and Pacific Ocean were breathtaking, and the level of customer service was unparelled. Each place was so small and intimate that the proprietors knew our names and what types of food we preferred. The personal chef even made us separate meals so that my husband could try more adventurous dishes than I liked! We loved the variety and uniqueness of each experience, and the small and intimate settings of the accomodations.
We did some very special activities that we would never have even considered, or known how to book, on our own. For example, we spent a day sailing in the Pacific Ocean and exploring a private island, we went horseback riding in the mountains, and had a day on a small private plane touring a working sheep farm. We had our own personal guide for most of the activities, so we got to tailor the day to the types of activities we enjoyed.
This was truly the trip of a lifetime, and we are very grateful for your effort and considerable expertise! The trip was worth every penny, and we would highly recommend your company to others!!!
