Included below is a brief itinerary, upon booking a far more detailed itinerary will be provided.

Day 1 – Monday 8th January

Arrive to Sydney International Airport (1030pm own arrangements). Private transfer to your accommodation

Accommodation: QT Sydney



Day 2 – Tuesday 9th January

0900 (Time TBC) You will be transferred to Sydney Airport Heliport for a trip to the Blue Mountains. (40 minute heli flight) Today you’ll see the Three Sisters rock formation, the Katoomba Waterfall and the magnificent Jamison and Kedumba Valleys. Your guide will take you to the quaint mountain township of Blackheath and the western edge of the Blue Mountains where you will enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch with views into the Megalong and Kanimbla Valleys. Occasional sightings of kangaroos in the valleys await before you will delight at the grandeur of the Grose Valley, the Bridal Veil Waterfall and Australia’s very own Grand Canyon. (Total trip duration 5 hours) Return approximately 2pm. 

Suggested activity:  Walk along the coastal track to Manly (walk approximately 3-3.5 hours) from Spit Bridge. Here you’ll find loads of popular cafes & bars where you can enjoy dinner.

Day 3 – Wednesday 10th January

0730 (TBC) Private transfer to Sydney airport.

Qantas Business Class depart Sydney 9.30am arrive Cairns 11.35am. Private transfer to your accommodation (1 hour drive). After dropping your luggage off at the resort you will transfer into Port Douglas for lunch (8minute drive). Shuttle info TBA. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, explore Port Douglas, swim / relax at the resort.



Day 4 – Thursday 11th January

7.45am Private transfer to Port Douglas Marina. Here you will embark on your full day private sailing tour. The day will include guided snorkelling tour  (seasonal lycra suits provided) with a marine guide, glass bottom boat viewing & reef interpretation, Low Isles Heritage walk, time to relax at Low Isles island. 

Return to your accommodation at approximately 4.15pm.

Tonight dine at your leisure either in Port Douglas or at your resort.

Day 5 – Friday 12th January

0800 (TBC) You will be collected for your private tour to the Daintree & Cape Tribulation.

4pm (TBC) return to your accommodation.

Day 6 – Saturday 13th January

(Time TBC) Private transfer to Cairns Airport.

12.10pm Depart Cairns – Arrive Brisbane 2.25pm Business Class flight 2 hours 15 minutes

5.40pm Depart Brisbane – Arrive Auckland 11.50pm Business Class flight 3 hours, 10 minutes

Day 7 – Sunday 14th January

Depart Auckland 11.50am – Arrive Taupo 12.40pm Economy flight 50 minutes

Private transfer to drop off luggage at your accommodation. Have a light lunch at Hilton Taupo.

This afternoon you’ll experience an epic guided e-bike adventure in Taupo. You’ll be picked up at 2pm (TBC) by e-bike shuttle & return by approximately 5pm

Day 8 – Monday 15th January
 
Today your guide will pick you up at 9.30am for your guided hike & cruise on Lake Taupo. Lunch is included on the launch (BBQ buffet with Scotch fillet, salads, breads, fruit & slices *dietary requirements catered for as required) activities you can enjoy are clay bird shooting, fishing & viewing Maori rock carvings.  You will be returned to your accommodation at approximately 3.30pm.

Possible afternoon activity: Massage / Spa Treatment

Day 9 – Tuesday 16th January

At approximately 7.50am (TBC) this morning you’ll be transferred to Taupo airport for your flight to Queenstown.
Depart 9.05am – Arrive 1.30pm (Transit Auckland 1 hour 40 minutes) 2 flights, (Taupo to Auckland 50 minute flight
Auckland to Queenstown 1 hour 55 minute flight)
On arrival you’ll be collected by Gibbston Valley Wineries & taken for a tour of New Zealand’s largest wine cave (30 mins with 3 wine tastings) Then you’ll be set up with your e-bikes & a map to head off along the Kawarau River, stopping at wineries along the way. When you return you’ll be transferred to your accommodation. *Gibbston Valley Wineries will secure your luggage while you’re on this tour*

Day 10 – Wednesday 17th January

Today you’ll be collected at approximately 9.30am (TBC) for your epic private heli tour to Milford Sound, including a glacier landing, breathtaking views, cascading waterfalls, an alpine picnic lunch & paddle boarding on a remote glacier lake. You will be returned to your accommodation at approximately 2pm.

This afternoon possible activity: Paragliding or Hang Gliding off Coronet Peak.

Day 11 – Thursday 18th January

This morning at approximately 7.30am (TBC) take a short 2 minute walk to The Station Building. You will be transferred to the Routeburn Valley. You will experience a thrilling full day guided canyoning trip, here you’ll be taken to places that are normally inaccessible giving you a true sense of isolation where you can take in all the natural beauty that surrounds. Lunch is catered today (menu TBC) This is a full 8 hour day with 3 hours canyoning. Return approximately 4pm (TBC)

Day 12 – Friday 19th January

Today is for bungy jumping! At 9.20am take the 10 minute walk to The Station Building where you will be transferred to your Bungy Jump. The Nevis Bungy is 134m & the highest in New Zealand. After the bungy you’ll return to The Station Building at approximately 1.30pm. Walk back to your accommodation for your very short transfer (5 minute drive) to your new accommodation.

Enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice.

This evening you will be transferred at 6pm (TBC) from your accommodation (by Onsen Hot Pools Shuttle) to enjoy a soak at Onsen Hot Pools taking in beautiful views of the Shotover River in your own private outdoor, cedar lined tub. 60 minute soak, returning back to your accommodation by approximately 8pm.

Day 13 – Saturday 20th January

This morning at 8am take a 10 minute walk to The Station Building for your transfer out to Dart River Adventures  in Glenorchy (45 minute drive). A full day experiencing incredible scenery on both jet boat & funyaks (inflatable canoe)! Your lunch is included today, sandwiches, fruit & slices *dietary requirements catered for* Trip duration 8.5-9 hours, you will be returned to The Station Building at approximately 5pm

Day 14 – Sunday 21st January

Today is for White Water Rafting (grade 3-5). 7.45am (TBC) Take the 10 minute walk to the Visitor Centre where you will be transferred to the Shotover River (approximately 20 minute drive). Experience the rugged beauty of the Skippers Canyon as you conquer the wild and untamed Shotover River. (Duration 4-5 hours). Return by 1pm. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice.

Day 15 – Monday 22nd January – Departure

2.30pm You’ll be transferred to Queenstown airport for your flight to Auckland. Depart 3.05pm, Arrive Auckland 4.55pm (1 hour, 50 minute total flight time). Departure from Auckland 9.05pm (own arrangements)

References to other currencies are estimates based on exchange rates current at the time of preparing your quote. The actual amount in your local currency will depend on exchange rates applicable on the day of booking/payment.

Payment

To confirm your package Luxury Adventures requires a deposit of 25% of the total package cost. This booking deposit is non-refundable. The deposit secures airfares, accommodation and activity bookings etc. Full payment for the package is required 60 days before tour commencement. If a booking is made less than 60 days before tour commencement, then payment is required in full at the time of booking. All prices are quoted in NZ dollars unless otherwise specified. Prices include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 15%. Payment can be made by direct bank (telegraphic) transfers, or credit card. Payments made by credit card will incur a transaction fee of 2%. Our preferred method of payment is by direct bank (Telegraphic) transfer.
