Cape Kidnappers Golf Course

New Zealand offers world-class golf courses in both the North and South Islands. Often with breathtaking vistas of snow capped mountains, seascapes and native bush. With over 400 courses that’s more golf courses per head of capita than any other country in the world! Some of the best golf courses in New Zealand are home to some of the best accommodation available such as Kauri Cliffs and Cape Kidnappers located in Northland and Hawkes Bay respectively.

In the North Island there are some outstanding accommodations in fantastic locations allowing access to some of New Zealand’s best courses. Northland is a pristine location where visitors can stay at Carrington Resort or Kauri Cliffs – both with first-class golf courses and facilities on site. Or alternatively visitors to New Zealand could stay at Eagles Nest or Huntaway Lodge, and visit the local courses as day trips. In the middle of the North Island is Wairakei, set amongst the spectacular scenery of the Lake Taupo region. Here there are some excellent places to stay such as the much revered Huka Lodge and Acacia Cliffs. South East of Taupo you will find the Hawkes Bay, where the sister course to Kauri Cliffs, Cape Kidnappers can be found. Cape Kidnappers was completed in 2004 and is currently ranked the 41st best golf course in the world by Golf Magazine. Players can stay on site at Cape Kidnappers Lodge or they could also enjoy a private villa nearby such as ‘Millar Road’, ‘Johns House’ or a Bed and Breakfast experience such as Greenhill Lodge.
