The Tiaki New Zealand promise is a new initiative launched by numerous companies, local and national bodies. Air New Zealand, the Department of Conservation (DOC), Local Government New Zealand, New Zealand Maori Tourism, Tourism Holdings Ltd, Tourism Industry Aotearoa (TIA), and Tourism New Zealand have all banded together to implement The Tiaki New Zealand promise. The Tiaki promise is designed to protect the land, travellers and culture. Luxury Adventures thinks it’s a great idea to formalise this and has been following similar practises through it’s 7 point environmental checklist for many years.
