Rick returns to The Farm at Cape Kidnappers on Saturday, 22 August 2015 where he’’ll be sharing the magic of the Mediterranean – cooking dishes from his latest book: From Venice to Istanbul. Rick’s love of fresh produce and authentic cooking and his zest for life will make this weekend one not to be missed!
Saturday night is the main event – starting with a pre-dinner wine tasting with Gordon Russell of Esk Valley Estate wines. Gordon is one of New Zealand’s most respected winemakers and his finely crafted Hawke’s Bay wines are impressive.
The special dinner with Rick Stein follows – a five course tasting menu of dishes from Rick’s latest book, matched to beautiful Esk Valley Estate wines. Rick will entertain over dinner with a talk on the menu as well as sharing some anecdotes from his amazing life and travels. Gordon Russell will enlighten on the sublime wine matches.
The tariff for the Rick Stein Weekend is NZ$1,400.00 + 15% GST per person based on twin or double occupancy for a two night stay. The tariff includes accommodation for two nights, pre-dinner drinks and canapés each night, dinner each evening (wines not included on the Friday or Sunday night, depending on which night you stay), your choice of either one round of golf or a 50 minute massage per person, full daily breakfast and a complimentary mini bar (excludes liquor and wine).
