Included below is a brief itinerary, upon booking a far more detailed itinerary will be provided.

Day 1 – Sunday 7th January
Arrive to Sydney International Airport (1030pm own arrangements). Your accommodation is at Sydney International Airport

Accommodation: The Rydges, Sydney Airport



Day 2 – Monday 8th January

Qantas flight Depart Sydney 09.35am – Arrive Uluru 11.35am (Business class, flight time 3 hour 30 minute)

Private transfer to Longitude 131° where you’ll receive a warm signature welcome & one of the team will go over your itinerary for stay at Longitude 131. Settle in to the relaxed luxury of the surrounds and savour the magnificent views.

Lunch is served in the cool of the Dune House or outdoors on the terrace overlooking Uluru. You can enjoy a starter and main meal, with fresh seafood, meats and salads a highlight. Enjoy a paired wine and/or finish with dessert and coffee. Lunch is the perfect precursor to a relaxed afternoon by the pool, on the Dune Top or in the comfort of a luxury tent.

This evening capture the changing lights reflected over Uluru’s many faces as the sun slips below the horizon during the Uluru Sunset excursion. The essential outback experience enjoyed with chilled glass and canapé in hand!

Tonight experience Bruce Munro’s magical Field of Light art installation as darkness descends over Australia’s spiritual heartland. The evening seamlessly segues into an exclusive dining event amongst the dunes at Table 131°.

Day 3 – Tuesday 9th January

Join the Longitude 131° guide for a walk in the early dawn light through Walpa Gorge and the many heads of Kata Tjuta. Later, a visit to the Culture Centre completes a morning of discovery in the Red Centre.

This afternoon journey to the base of Uluru to learn about the history of the local Indigenous Mala Peoples on the Mala Walk. At dusk, enter Kantju Gorge illuminated in the light of the setting sun for evening drinks and canapés.

Tonight relax in the Dune House with its feel-at-home open bar or toast the view from the Dune Top. Dine at your leisure in the restaurant from 7pm.



Day 4 – Wednesday 10th January

The Mutitjulu Meander takes in a peaceful waterhole at the base of Uluru as the sun rises over the ancient monolith. Delve into the Aboriginal Dreaming story of Kuniya Piti for a deeper connection.

Back at the lodge, enjoy breakfast in the Dune House and capture final pictures before departure. ‘Palya’ (that’s ‘Goodbye’ in the local language) and safe travels.

Private transfer to Uluru Airport. Qantas Depart Ulluru 12.20pm Arrive Sydney 4.45pm. (Business class, flight time 2 hours 55 minutes).

On arrival in Sydney you will be transferred to your accommodation.

Day 5 – Thursday 11th January
0900 (Time TBC) You will be transferred to Sydney Airport Heliport for a trip to the Blue Mountains. (40 minute heli flight) Today you’ll see the Three Sisters rock formation, the Katoomba Waterfall and the magnificent Jamison and Kedumba Valleys. Your guide will take you to the quaint mountain township of Blackheath and the western edge of the Blue Mountains where you will enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch with views into the Megalong and Kanimbla Valleys. Occasional sightings of kangaroos in the valleys await before you will delight at the grandeur of the Grose Valley, the Bridal Veil Waterfall and Australia’s very own Grand Canyon. (Total trip duration 5 hours) Return approximately 2pm. 

This afternoon you’ll be transferred from your accommodation at  approximately 3.30pm to Spit Bridge (approximately 20 minute drive) to walk along the coastal track to Manly (walk approximately 3-3.5 hours). Here you’ll find loads of popular cafes & bars where you can enjoy dinner.

Day 6 – Friday 12th January

Qantas Depart Sydney 0945 arrive Auckland 2.55pm (Business class 3 hours 10 min flight time)

Day 7 – Saturday 13th January
Today you’ll experience an epic guided e-bike adventure in Taupo. Option 1 you’ll be picked up at 8.30am (TBC) by e-bike shuttle & return by midday. Option 2 you’ll be picked up at 8.30m (TBC) by e-bike shuttle & return by approximately 2.30pm (catered lunch for option 2, menu TBC).

Possible afternoon activity: Get up close to Huka Falls on the Huka Falls Jet Experience

 Day 8 – Sunday 14th January

Today your guide will pick you up at 9.30am for your guided hike & cruise on Lake Taupo. Lunch is included on the launch (BBQ buffet with Scotch fillet, salads, breads, fruit & slices *dietary requirements catered for as required) activities you can enjoy are clay bird shooting, fishing & viewing Maori rock carvings.  You will be returned to your accommodation at approximately 3.30pm.

Possible afternoon activity: Massage / Spa Treatment

Day 9 – Monday 15th January

At approximately 7.50am (TBC) this morning you’ll be transferred to Taupo airport for your flight to Queenstown.
Depart 9.05am – Arrive 12.40pm (Transit Auckland 50 minutes) 2 flights, 3 hours, 35 minutes total flight time.
On arrival you’ll be collected by Gibbston Valley Wineries & taken for a tour of New Zealand’s largest wine cave (30 mins with 3 wine tastings) Then you’ll be set up with your e-bikes & a map to head off along the Kawarau River, stopping at wineries along the way. When you return you’ll be transferred to your accommodation. *Gibbston Valley Wineries will secure your luggage while you’re on this tour*

Day 10 – Tuesday 16th January

Today you’ll be collected at approximately 9.30am (TBC) for your epic private heli tour to Milford Sound, including a glacier landing, breathtaking views, cascading waterfalls, an alpine picnic lunch & paddle boarding on a remote glacier lake. You will be returned to your accommodation at approximately 2pm.

This afternoon possible activity: Paragliding or Hang Gliding off Coronet Peak.

Day 11 – Wednesday 17th January

This morning at approximately 7.30am (TBC) take a short 2 minute walk to The Station Building. You will be transferred to the Routeburn Valley. You will experience a thrilling full day guided canyoning trip, here you’ll be taken to places that are normally inaccessible giving you a true sense of isolation where you can take in all the natural beauty that surrounds. Lunch is catered today (menu TBC) This is a full 8 hour day with 3 hours canyoning. Return approximately 4pm (TBC)

Day 12 – Thursday 18th January
Today is for bungy jumping! At 9.20am take the 10 minute walk to The Station Building where you will be transferred to your Bungy Jump. The Nevis Bungy is 134m & the highest in New Zealand. After the bungy you’ll return to The Station Building at approximately 1.30pm. Walk back to your accommodation for your very short transfer (5 minute drive) to your new accommodation.

Enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice.

This evening you will be transferred at 6pm (TBC) from your accommodation (by Onsen Hot Pools Shuttle) to enjoy a soak at Onsen Hot Pools taking in beautiful views of the Shotover River in your own private outdoor, cedar lined tub. 60 minute soak, returning back to your accommodation by approximately 8pm.

Day 13 – Friday 19th January

This morning at 8am take a 10 minute walk to The Station Building for your transfer out to Dart River Adventures  in Glenorchy (45 minute drive). A full day experiencing incredible scenery on both jet boat & funyaks (inflatable canoe)! Your lunch is included today, sandwiches, fruit & slices *dietary requirements catered for* Trip duration 8.5-9 hours, you will be returned to The Station Building at approximately 5pm

Day 14 – Saturday 20th January

Today is for White Water Rafting (grade 3-5). 7.45am (TBC) Take the 10 minute walk to the Visitor Centre where you will be transferred to the Shotover River (approximately 20 minute drive). Experience the rugged beauty of the Skippers Canyon as you conquer the wild and untamed Shotover River. (Duration 4-5 hours). Return by 1pm. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice.

Day 15 – Sunday 21st January -Departure
2.30pm You’ll be transferred to Queenstown airport for your flight to Auckland. Depart 3.05pm, Arrive Auckland 4.55pm (1 hour, 50 minute total flight time).

Payment

To confirm your package Luxury Adventures requires a deposit of 25% of the total package cost. This booking deposit is non-refundable. The deposit secures airfares, accommodation and activity bookings etc. Full payment for the package is required 60 days before tour commencement. If a booking is made less than 60 days before tour commencement, then payment is required in full at the time of booking. All prices are quoted in NZ dollars unless otherwise specified. Prices include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 15%. Payment can be made by direct bank (telegraphic) transfers, or credit card. Payments made by credit card will incur a transaction fee of 3% + GST. Our preferred method of payment is by direct bank (Telegraphic) transfer.
