Luxury Adventures are doing a series of interviews with some of our key suppliers. We’re looking at the different aspects of their lives and how these influence the experiences they offer. The Lindis offers unrivalled luxury accommodation and is located near the Lindis Pass, South Island, New Zealand.

The conception of The Lindis

Tell us how New Zealand’s newest luxury lodge came to be? The lodge came to be by creating a building that is in harmony with the land. Indeed the architecture and design of the lodge are outstanding. In addition the owner of The Lindis was heavily involved in the design. The design was created and brought to life by Chris Kelly of Architecture Workshop in Wellington.

Originally from the UK, I now call New Zealand my home, relocating 15 years ago with my husband and two children. I have been with Luxury Adventures for 15 years. When not planning perfect vacations and honeymoons for our clients, I enjoy running and recently completed the Queenstown marathon, along with reading, walking in the bush and on the beach with my two dogs and finding new favourite places in New Zealand.
