Air NZ has launched a convenient downtown check-in service for its passengers to allow them to enjoy Queenstown for longer.  The service, located at 8 Church St (next to @Thai), is open 8am-12 noon 7 days a week and works just like checking in at the airport – travellers with tickets saying ‘operated by Air NZ’ can pick up their boarding passes and drop their bags off at the downtown office to be delivered to the airport.  Then all they have to do is be at the airport 30 minutes (domestic) or 60 minutes (international) prior to their flight and go straight to the gate.  The service is being trialled for 8 weeks and, if successful, will become permanent.
