VOMO Island Fiji is a privately owned 87 hectare (225 acre) island located in the Mamanuca Island group of Fiji, on the cusp of the Yasawa Islands. A short distance to the west of VOMO sits Vomo Lailai, a true deserted island. Surrounded by trademark aqua waters, this tiny island has some of the finest snorkelling and diving we have to offer. Vomo Lailai can be hired by romantic couples for your own Robinson Crusoe experience. We take you by boat the short 1 mile (1.6 kilometres) to the island, set up a beautiful gourmet picnic for you to enjoy under a shady umbrella. You’ll have a two-way radio to call when you want to return back to ‘civilisation’ at VOMO…. or if you run out of champagne.
VOMO is located between the Mamanuca and Yasawa group of islands, just 15 minutes by air or just over 30 minutes by boat from the mainland.
VOMO operate fast speedboat transfers on charter basis, between Vuda Point Marina and VOMO Island or vice versa. Vuda Point Marina is located just 20 minutes drive from Nadi International Airport. The comfortable and fast boat ride takes approximately 35 minutes to VOMO, enabling guests to be on the island in around an hour after departing the airport. The vessel is capable of carrying up to 20 passengers plus luggage and is fitted with GPS navigations, VHF radio, safety equipment and life jackets as per Marine and Safety Authority Fiji requirements. Vomo Transfers can operate on pre booked charter basis between the hours of 05.00am to 9.00pm daily and is able to meet all flights.
Car transfers between Nadi airport & Vuda marina or vice versa to connect with the speedboat transfers are included for Island Blu passengers.
Helicopter transfers depart from Nadi International Airport with seats during daylight hours on a charter basis to suit your arrival time, based on a minimum of two people travelling. Flight time is approximately 15 minutes. Helicopters are able to seat up to 6 persons maximum.
