Day 1 – 3rd June 2025

On arrival you’ll be collected & taken to your accommodation in the heart of Melbourne. 

Accommodation: W Melbourne



Day 2 – 4th June 2025

Enjoy the morning at your leisure.

Possible options: Checking out the shops in Melbourne CBD, taking a stroll over to Southbank or perhaps jumping in an Uber/Cab to St Kilda Beach.  

This evening you will enjoy The Spirit of Melbourne Dinner Cruise.  A cruise along the Yarra River whilst enjoying a delicious 4 course meal.

Day 3 – 5th June 2025

Today you will see the Great Ocean Road Reverse Itinerary  which includes the world famous 12 Apostles. An early start is needed because we get you to the attractions before the crowds. Please bear in mind that you are going to see one of the most spectacular natural landscapes on the planet! Departing point is at 6:50 am from State Theatre on St Kilda Road. Return is 7pm.

This evening is for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 4 – 6th June 2025
 
Today you will take a domestic flight to Sydney, departing Melbourne 12:30pm & arriving 13:55pm.
 
You will be transferred from Sydney airport to your accommodation in Sydney’s Circular Quay area, close to a number of iconic Australian landmarks.
 
At 8pm this evening you have Tickets to a show at the Sydney Opera House (Tickets are subject to availability) Stephen Hough performs Mendelssohn with Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Find out more here

Day 5 – 7th June 2025

When holidaying in Sydney, no itinerary would be complete without a trip to the world famous Blue Mountains. Our  Blue Mountains Sunset Tour offers breath-taking views, dazzling waterfalls, wonderful Australian wildlife and the world-famous Three Sisters. Pick up at 10am (pick up location 300m walk from hotel) and arriving back into Central City at 8:30pm.

Day 6 – 8th June 2025

Today is your day to explore Sydney and one of its most famous beaches. You will collect your rental car from Avis Car Rental Circular Quay and self drive 15 mins to Bondi Beach. Our suggestion is to go for a walk along the beach, check out the shops and perhaps make a reservation at Icebergs Restaurant one of the trendiest spots in Sydney.

Day 7 – 9th June 2025

Enjoy this morning at your leisure. 

After checking out today you will self drive from Sydney to your accommodation in The Hunter Valley. (2 hrs) 

On arrival into one of Australia’s most popular wine regions you’ll be able to enjoy the afternoon at your leisure.

Day 8 – 10th June 2025

Starting at 11:30am and concluding at 4pm, today is a Half Day Wine Tour with Lunch. Your adventure unfolds with a curated itinerary featuring two exclusive winery stops, each a hidden gem showcasing the finest in boutique winemaking. Picture yourself immersed in the rich tapestry of the Hunter Valley, Pokolbin, and Lovedale, as you indulge in tastings that dance on your palate like a symphony of flavours

Day 9 – 11th June 2025

Today is a 3 hr drive for Part 1 of your 2 Part journey along the East Coast towards Byron Bay stopping in Port Macquarie for the night to break up the drive.

Port Macquarie’s beaches offer golden sands, surfing, swimming, fishing, family-friendly spots, stunning coastal views, and ideal conditions for relaxation. The Whalebone Wharf restaurant comes highly recommended for dinner. 

 
 
Day 10 – 12th June 2025
 

Today you will continue on the 2nd leg of your drive to Byron Bay (4hrs). We would encourage you to stop at Coff Harbour for lunch to break up the drive (1 hr 30 mins away) You will find this to be an interesting drive, filled with coastal towns.

If time allows, this afternoon you could take a walk to the Byron Bay Lighthouse, which is the most easterly point of Australia.

Day 11 – 13th June 2025

Today you will be taken aboard a boat to go on a Whale Watching Safari. You will explore the stunning coastal scenery of the Cape Byron Marine Park, it is highly likely that we will encounter several humpback whales and other marine creatures such as dolphins, turtles and migratory seabirds.

This evening you could check out the popular Three Blue Ducks for a delicious farm to table dinner option

Day 12 – 14th June 2025

Today you will be driving from the Byron Bay to Surfers Paradise (1hr 20) on the Gold Coast one of the most popular destinations in Australia.

1:30pm: This afternoon you will paddle the beautiful Gold Coast waterways, spot the abundant Gold Coast wildlife, and snorkel with hundreds of sub-tropical fish on the Broadwater Dolphin Kayak & Snorkelling Tour.

Day 13 – 15th June 2025

Today is a day at your leisure. The Gold Coast has golden beaches, perfect for surfing, swimming, or relaxing. Explore the vibrant shopping scene, from high-end boutiques at Pacific Fair to quirky local markets. The blend of beach vibes and retail therapy creates the ultimate coastal experience.

Day 14 – 16th June 2025

Today you will drive to Brisbane Airport (1hr) to drop off your rental vehicle and catch your flight 1:40pm flight to Cairns in far North Queensland(2hr 25 flight time). On arrival you will collect your rental vehicle and drive to Port Douglas(1hr 10). This is a beautiful drive. 

This afternoon you can enjoy at your leisure. The Sheraton has a huge pool and great options to sit or lay and relax!

Day 15 – 17th June 2025

Today you will experience the ancient forests of The Daintree. Picture beautiful rainforest walks, a lush lunch, a cruise, estuarine crocodiles and wildlife spotting.

Day 16 – 18th June 2025

Today you will experience the dramatic beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. It’s a day that engages all your senses, lifts your spirit and takes you into another realm. Choose to dive, snorkel, or stay dry and explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a Quicksilver semi-sub, just one metre underwater.

Day 17 – 19th June 2025

Today you will drive back to Cairns, stopping in at Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. The return cable car ride (1.5hrs) will take you over the truly remarkable World Heritage listed North Queensland Wet Tropics Rainforest. 

This evening you could dine along The Esplanade with a choice many of the restaurant options.

Day 18- 20th June 2025

Today you will drop your rental vehicle back at the airport as you travel from Cairns to Melbourne (own arrangements) 14:20pm

Payment

To confirm your package Luxury Adventures requires a deposit of 25% of the total package cost. This booking deposit is non-refundable.

*Luxury Adventures requires a further 10% deposit at time of booking. This is fully refundable until 90 days prior to tour commencement. 

The deposit secures airfares, accommodation and activity bookings etc. Full payment for the package is required 60 days before tour commencement. If a booking is made less than 60 days before tour commencement, then payment is required in full at the time of booking. All prices are quoted in NZ dollars unless otherwise specified. Prices include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 15%. Payment can be made by direct bank (telegraphic) transfers, or credit card. Payments made by credit card will incur a transaction fee of 2%. Our preferred method of payment is by direct bank (Telegraphic) transfer.
