New South Wales offers the famous Perisher Blue ski fields and Thredbo Alpine Resort, snuggled into the foothills of Australia’s highest mountains. It is just a slice of the 690,000 hectares that make up the beautiful Kosciuszko National Park. Victoria’s Mt Baw Baw just 90mins from the bustling City of Melbourne, has great ski, snowboarding and cross country facilities. Mt. Baw Baw in Victoria offers great skiing and snowboarding for families or beginner skiers, whilst Mt Buller has something to offer skiers and snowboarders of all ages and capabilities – from gentle groomed slopes to impressive off-piste tree runs. It has the largest lifting capacity of any Victorian ski area, with a network of 25 lifts capable of moving more than 40,000 people per hour around the resort’s 80kms of groomed trails.
