Mt Cook Lakeside Retreat is set in a forest wilderness overlooking the turquoise blue waters of Lake Pukaki. It is right on the doorstep of Aoraki Mt Cook National Park located in the beautiful and unique Te W?hipounamu World Heritage Area.

From your room you can enjoy uninterrupted views up Lake Pukaki to the Southern Alps and Aoraki Mt Cook, New Zealand’s highest mountain. And the night sky is spectacular as we are located within the gold level Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve. The Villa is private and romantic and set in one of the world’s most picturesque locations. Absolutely stunning and the perfect place for you to relax and revive. The two bedroom luxury villa is nestled on the clifftop overlooking Lake Pukaki and you will have your own spa facilities including sauna, outside hot tub/bath, workout room and massage room. For larger groups, the Villa and Private Spa can be booked together with Pukaki Homestead. You will have exclusive use of all facilities.

Located 200 metres from the Villa and Spa, the Homestead provides an ancillary accommodation in the guest wing of Pukaki Homestead which features an additional 2 bedrooms, a sumptuous bathroom and private library for relaxation and reflection. Next to the guest wing is the Great Hall is a large 120sq metre space with a huge French style dining table for shared meals and a large fireplace, perfect for relaxing around after a busy day. Enjoy fresh local breakfast provisions and a homestyle 2 course dinner prepared each day using local produce and fresh vegetables from our garden. This is included with your booking.
