The day and night outlooks – of dinghies, yachts and super-yachts anchored in the bay below or passing by, and of shipping in the Gulf passing to the oceans beyond – are compelling, relaxing, even hypnotic. Infinitely diverse cloud formations, extraordinary light, ever-changing hues of the sea in all her moods – these are spellbinding. The amazing clarity of the air emphasises colours and highlights sunrises, sunsets and the night sky. As well, the abundant native bird life flits by in a flash of colour.
