Malolo Island Resort
Malolo Island Resort
description

Malolo Island is undisputedly one of Fijis true natural treasures recognized not only for its scenic beauty but also its fascinating history from which many legends have been born.

Malolo Island Fiji – the resort, was built in the 1970s and was in fact one of the first fijian resorts to be built in the Mamanuca Group of islands. In the early 1990’s, the resort became a ‘timeshare’ establishment and was finally bought by its current Fijian owners in 1999. Since this time and after significant multi-million dollar reinvestment over the years, the resort has undergone many transformations and upgrades and has evolved into the wonderful product you see today.

Despite the many structural changes that have taken place over the years, the one consistent element of Malolo Island Resort has been the Fijian staff who, through their culture, traditions, enormous sense of fun and genuine friendliness, complete and enhance the Malolo Island experience.

Plantation-style duplex accommodation, reminiscent of the colonial era with high vaulted ceilings, provides a feeling of spaciousness and rustic elegance. Our bures are fully air-conditioned and set amongst lush tropical gardens, and some are only a few lazy steps from the beach and waters edge with full or partial ocean views.
At Malolo you can fill your day with activities or simply unwind and do nothing at all. There is an array of activities and experiences on offer to keep even the most active of guests occupied.
