Golf at Kauri Cliffs
Kauri Cliffs - Golf
description

Kauri Cliffs Golf course is one of the most spectacular golf courses in New Zealand and the world.

The Kauri Cliffs golf course in New Zealand was designed and built by David Harman of Golf Course Consultants, Florida. The par 72 championship luxury golf course measures 7,119 yards/ 6,510 metres and offers five sets of tees to challenge every skill level.

The course has been laid out to make the most of the sea views. The 6th, 7th and then the run from the 14th to the 17th are all as close to the water as the topography allows. Fifteen holes view the Pacific Ocean, six of which are played alongside cliffs which plunge to the ocean below.

Visitors to this remarkable area of the North Island hold The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs and its luxury golf course in high esteem. Among them, American golfers, who constitute a significant portion of the visitors, commend Kauri Cliffs, often drawing comparisons to esteemed destinations like Cypress Point and Pebble Beach.

The beautiful inland holes wind through marsh, forest and farmland. The golf complex includes a world-class practice range, putting and chipping greens, a well stocked golf shop, and ladies and mens locker rooms.
