There’s a relaxed, casual atmosphere. People seem to enjoy working here, as though they’ve stumbled onto something wonderful and can’t wait to share it. After being at the property for just a few hours, I began to understand how they felt.
Fly-fishing on the clean, clear waters of the resort lakes for brown or rainbow trout is only one of the recreational activities available for guests. The 18 hole par 72 international golf course is home for the New Zealand PGA championship and combines elements of links golf with parkland golf. The course provides a challenge for players of all abilities as it meanders around the succession of trout-filled streams and gives uninterrupted views of the Southern Alps.
