Wildwood Lodge is set in five acres of landscaped gardens with two hundred meters of totally private lake frontage on the shores of tranquil and historic Lake Rotoehu. Having been totally rebuilt for the 2006 season, Wildwood is the most recently constructed Qualmark 5-star luxury Lodge in the Rotorua area. It represents the very best of contemporary architecture, offering total privacy and understated elegance for the discerning traveller. No other house is visible from anywhere on the entire estate. Wildwood caters for a maximum of six guests, with two large well-appointed suites in the main Lodge and an adjacent guest house. With a large open plan design, incorporating expansive decks,the Lodge offers a wonderful feeling of space and light. The extensive natural timber flooring is complemented with the generous use of Persian rugs and some fine examples of genuine 18th Century oak furniture. We also showcase original New Zealand contemporary art and sculpture. The property has been owned and operated by Simon and Cath Robertson since 1995, and both have had extensive involvement in the tourism industry.

Facilities: The Lodge has ducted central heating and air conditioning, with individual temperature controls in the guest house and suites. There is also a large open fire which provides wonderful ambience in the cooler months. A well stocked library with weathered leather club couches offers a comfortable retreat for those who just wish to curl up with a book, and if the urge cannot be resisted, the theatre with 100 inch screen and sky dish will allow you to catch up with CNN or your favourite news programme. A large selection of movies and music are also available. Complimentary wireless high speed Broadband internet access is available in every room of the Lodge, including the guest house. The property has a helipad on site and numerous options for helicopter sightseeing or fishing are covered in the activities section.
