This privately guided tour of Rotorua will enable you to explore the cultural and thermal highlights of Rotorua. Prior to your tour, your guide will consult with you to ascertain if you have any particular points of interest you would like to see and will also offer his recommendations. Some of the points of interest and destinations can include; Whakarewarewa thermal valley, the colourful geothermal park of Wai-O-Tapu, Rainbow Springs wildlife sanctuary, Maori history and culture, Geothermal activity, the punctual Lady Knox Geyser, Waimangu Volcanic Valley - a scenic geothermal valley containing New Zealand's largest hot spring and spectacular native bush, The Buried Village, destroyed during the Tarawera volcanic eruption.
Wilderness/Helicopter fly fishing (Taupo)
Your fishing guide will collect you from Huka lodge and transfer you to Taupo Airport where you will be fitted with your waders, etc. Then you will board the helicopters and enjoy a scenic flight en-route to either Mohaka, Ngaruroro, Rangitiki or Wanganui rivers, dependant on which are fishing well at the time. The heli will drop you and your guides for your full days fishing adventures. Returning to Huka lodge by helicpter and landing on the lawn there.
