Welcome to the heart of the Tasman Region. Our romantically-situated cottage – perfect for two – overlooks Ruby Bay and the city lights of Nelson. We’re just a five minute drive from the charming village of Mapua and its Wharf with cafés, restaurants, specialty shops and a boutique brewery. A thirty minute drive will take you to Nelson. It is the perfect base from which to visit the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks with their stunning coastlines, sandy beaches and native bush.

The Tasman Great Taste Cycle Trail is close by – take to the trail by bike (bring your own or hire a bike locally) and visit some of the many vineyards and art galleries in the region. The summer sun rises over Nelson to greet another day in what is officially the sunniest region in New Zealand. Our climate is great for vacationing year round and the area is equally beautiful in Winter when there is snow on the Richmond Ranges and Mount Arthur. Rainbow Ski Field is about an hour and half drive away and is popular with locals.
