Pete Evans goes Spanish in the South Island at Matakauri Lodge!
Pete and his chef mate Gavin Baker head to Queenstown where they promise a fast paced variety of flavours and creative combinations from tapas to racions (larger plates) inspired by Pete’s travels in Spain and memories of meals in San Sebastian! Welcome wine tasting with Duncan Forsyth from Mount Edward wines on Friday evening set the scene before a dinner by the lodge chefs in the stunning setting overlooking Lake Wakatipu. Saturday morning will have Pete and Gavin sharing their love of Spain at a “up close and personal” cooking demo. Then it’s time to relax and enjoy all there is to love about Queenstown. Saturday night’s dinner will be a tribute to the great dishes of Spain, as Pete and Gavin re-interpret a range of Spanish classics in new and exciting ways, matched to Mount Edwards wines.
Tariff for this event is as follows:
The event tariff for the two night weekend is NZ$1600.00 plus 15% GST per person based on double or twin occupancy for a two night stay.
*Tariff includes accommodation in a suite with pre-dinner drinks and canapés, dinner by Pete Evans + Gavin Baker on Saturday night which will be matched with Mount Edward wines, full breakfast, complimentary mini-bar (excludes liquor and wine) and use of lodge facilities including one 50 minute massage per person during your stay. Wine with dinner on Friday night is not included.
