Are luxury Adventures packages for couples only?
Almost all Luxury adventures packages are based on two people, however we can cater for singles, families and small groups. Simply contact us with your requirements.
Do Luxury Adventures offer group packages?
Yes. If you have a family or group we can certainly accommodate you. We also specialise in incentive packages and client entertainment for corporate groups. Whether its a large or small group Luxury Adventures will organise something unique for your group.
Do Luxury Adventures customise packages?
Yes we do. We can alter one of the packages from our website to exactly meet your requirements or simply contact us with details of your dream vacation and we'll take care of the rest.
How can we contact you while on our vacation?
You'll be able to contact your Luxury Adventures agent 24 hours per day while in New Zealand via phone or email. So if you have any problems or a change of plans you'll never be stranded.
I require a guide to escort me on my vacation, can you organise one?
Yes, we have excellent guides who are professional, knowledgeable and who will show you the best New Zealand has to offer.

Our preferred method of payment is by direct bank transfer (telegraphic transfer).We also except credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Diners & AMEX).
Do your packages include international air travel?
Not unless specified. Usually our packages are land only i.e. once you reach New Zealand.
When is the best time to visit New Zealand?
You can visit New Zealand at any time of the year. Summer and winter temperatures vary by only about 10°C (50°F) over most of the country, making New Zealand an ideal holiday destination all year round. There are 4 quite distinct seasons - Spring (Sept-Nov), Summer (Dec-Feb), Autumn/Fall (Mar-May) and Winter (June-Aug). In summer there's plenty of sunshine, and activities in and around the water include Fishing (saltwater, freshwater and big game) mountain biking, Scuba diving, golf and hunting. In fact just about any thing you can imagine! You'll find snow on the mountains in winter and excellent skiing. Away from the mountains, New Zealand winters are mild and temperatures generally do not fall below freezing.
Where are the International Airports located in New Zealand?
New Zealand's International Airports are at Auckland, Wellington & Christchurch most International flights will land at Auckland. Some flights from Australia also land at Hamilton, Palmerston North, Queenstown and Dunedin.
Do I need a passport or visa to enter New Zealand?
All visitors to New Zealand must carry a passport that is valid for at least three months beyond the date you intend to leave the country. Most visitors who intend to stay for less than 3 months do not require a visa. If you want to stay longer than three months, or your country of origin does not have a visa waiver agreement with New Zealand, then you will need to apply for a Visitor's Visa. Can I use my mobile or hire one in New Zealand?
New Zealand offers global roaming, but if you're phone is not compatible you can organise a mobile phone for the duration of your trip from www.vodarent.co.nz which has a pick up and drop off at Auckland International Airport.
Do I need an international licence to drive in New Zealand?
No you can drive on any valid licence.
Can I use my credit cards/ATM cards in New Zealand?
All major international credit cards can be used in New Zealand and travellers cheques are accepted at hotels, banks and some stores. If your credit card is encoded with a PIN number you will be able to withdraw cash from automatic teller machines (ATMs) situated at banks and shopping centres throughout the country.
Are there any poisonous animals in New Zealand?
New Zealand has no snakes or dangerous wild animals, making it safe for visitors to enjoy outdoor activities.
What clothes should I take?
Dress is informal and relaxed on most occasions. Smart casual clothes are acceptable at most restaurants and nightspots. Men are generally not expected to wear suits and ties, except in a few of the top formal bars and restaurants in major cities. In summer a light jacket or sweater should be included in your luggage should the weather turn cooler or you visit the high country. You can expect some rain, so include a light waterproof jacket or coat. Pack warm winter clothing if visiting between May and September. Layer your clothing.
What is the climate Like?
New Zealand's seasons are the reverse of the Northern Hemisphere. This means that the warmest months are December, January and February, while the coldest are in June, July and August. In summer, the average maximum temperature ranges between 20-30ºC and in winter between 10-15ºC.
