Summerlee is the main homestead of Summerlee Station - a 5,000 acre farm which includes the world famous gannet colony at Cape Kidnappers and several miles of spectacular Hawkes Bay coastline. While totally private and secluded Summerlee is just 25 minutes from Napier Airport, 15 minutes from the city of Hastings and many of Hawkes Bay's best wineries and attractions are just a short distance from the driveway.
Built in 1926 Summerlee is a large and generously proportioned homestead. It has been substantially renovated to provide luxurious and private accommodation for up to 12 people. There are three large master bedrooms with their own bathrooms upstairs plus an additional 5 bedrooms and two bathrooms as required. Downstairs is a professional kitchen with top of the range appliances, cutlery and plateware. Summerlees kitchen has its own breakfast living area with French doors opening out onto sunny terraces. There is a separate formal dining room which opens into a large sitting room. The dining and sitting rooms have open fires and gas central heating warms the entire house. The Summerlee house is beautifully furnished with the very best of soft natural fabrics, luxurious bedding and antique furniture.
Facilities: Summerlee is equipped with every possible luxury and amenity, 8 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 7 lavatories, fully equipped professional kitchen complete with double oven, gas hobs, BBQ grill, dishwasher, microwave, separate pantry, separate outdoor gas BBQ, CD Player with speakers connected throughout the house, Fax machine, SKY television, large swimming pool with comfortable lounging areas and pool house, astroturf tennis court with night lighting, full laundry with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.
Within the home there is also an additional kitchen and self contained Bed/Sitting area suitable for staff accommodation if required.

felt like a private home, stunning decor yet homely and cosy with the open fires and central
