Available only for private use, Hurakia has five double bedrooms, spacious indoor and outdoor living areas including pool and spa, a personal chef and attentive host. Located on the southern headland of Rakino Island in the Hauraki Gulf, Hurakia is six minutes away from Auckland City by helicopter or 35-minute ride by boat. Onsite helipad and private jetty make for convenient arrival and departure. There is no road access to Hurakia ensuring complete privacy and providing 20 acres of island sanctuary to enjoy as you please. Built to the highest architectural standards Hurakia is eco friendly - 100% self-sufficient - it generates power from solar panels on the roof and collects its own water from rainfall.

Hurakia’s Master Suite and four guest bedrooms each enjoy 180º sea views and come complete with ensuite bathroom, super king size bed, fine linen and are tastefully furnished in a luxurious style. The Master Suite has a luxurious bath for two with magnificent views. Sleeping up to ten people per night in the five suites, Hurakia is divided into the Waiheke Wing and Tiri Wing, making it ideal for families or couples travelling together. Beds in the guest rooms can be configured to suit individual requirements. The large lounge and dining area offer panoramic views of the water and surrounding islands. There is space to relax and soak up the island life.
