Kohara Lodge is an award winning, environmentally designed house located just a few minutes drive from central Queenstown in picturesque Arthurs Point. Set into the hillside with a grass covered roof, the house is built of schist stone and natural wood beams. From the all main rooms there are magnificent views over the mighty Shotover River and Coronet Peak. And of course downtown Queenstown, with its chic bars, award winning restaurants and stylish boutiques, is within easy reach. Set in spacious grounds that include a lap pool with heated spa, championship standard putting green and flush level trampoline built into the lawn, Kohara Lodge is a luxurious retreat providing total privacy and seclusion.

There are 4 bedrooms at the house, sleeping 8-10 people, and 3 bathrooms – two double bedrooms (both with ensuite bathrooms), one twin room and a bunk room that can sleep four, serviced by the third bathroom.

Facilities: The spacious open plan living and dining area features a stylish, contemporary fitted kitchen with a large rustic kitchen table, glass splash backs and over size ceiling lights, an open fire featuring ceiling-height schist stone fireplace create the prefect environment to relax in the colder months, comfortable leather armchairs and couches. In the summer, large floor to ceiling glass doors can be opened up to the terrace area, which enjoys an outside open fire and provides access to the lap pool.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 30 days of arrival incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the total cost. Cancellations within 14 days incur 100% charge for every room night cancelled. All cancellations must be made in writing. We advise all guests to take out cancellation insurance to protect themselves against unexpected changes to their travel plans.
