Wanaka Homestead offers a choice of either luxury lodge or cottage accommodation in Wanaka, New Zealand. Just 200m from the shores of Lake Wanaka, the purpose-built Wanaka Homestead lodge provides informal luxury in a friendly five bedroom boutique bed and breakfast, which during winter has a "ski lodge" feel. Alternatively, our charming new cottages are family friendly and offer self-contained and serviced "apartment style" Wanaka accommodation with real warmth and character. Facilities, such as the under-the-stars hot tub, broadband Internet access and laundry, are all-inclusive.

For skiing accommodation Wanaka Homestead is ideally located for easy access to Cardrona, Treble Cone and The Snow Farm ski areas, and a pleasant one hour drive from Queenstown airport. Within metres of the accommodation Wanaka Station Park dominates the landscape. Once home to Wanaka's original Homestead (New Zealand term for "farmhouse"), the lawns and towering redwoods beckon you down to the glistening lake, and seemingly endless walking tracks begin.

Facilities: Each guest bedroom at Wanaka Homestead has ensuite facilities, fine linen, telephone, writing desk and other special touches designed to make you feel at home. The point of difference for the "master" bedroom is a huge California king bed and double showers and basins. Awaken to coffee aromas and a delicious continental and/or cooked breakfast prepared by your friendly hosts. The comfortable guest lounge is yours to enjoy and by evening is the ideal place to sample a complimentary local wine or beer by the roaring log fire. Cancellation Policy: 1) In order to confirm a booking, we require a deposit by cheque or credit card equal to 25% of the total value. Upon receipt, your booking will be secured and a unique reservation number issued. Under some circumstances we may waive the need to take funds in advance but 2) and 3) below will still be applicable. 2) In the event of cancellation, Wanaka Homestead will apply the following fees: Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival will incur no charge. Cancellations made 30-7 days prior to arrival will incur a charge of 25% of the value of the total stay. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival, or failure to arrive, a charge of 100% will be incurred. 3) Should Wanaka Homestead successfully resell the booking, funds minus any expenses such as credit card fees, will be refunded in full. Cancellations Policy for Exclusive-Use Bookings and Long-Stay Bookings Exceeding 2 Weeks Duration: As above, except the effect of cancellation on our business is devastating - we therefore charge 25% as a non refundable deposit.
