The Holme Station Homestead was built to celebrate life, Originally built in 1912 by one of New Zealand’s pioneering families, the Elworthys’ of South Canterbury. The Holme Station Homestead was designed to house a large family with a household staff of 25 and social centre to a large working station. There’s plenty of room to socialise, or read a book in front of an open fire. Today Holme Station Homestead is even more comfortable with its myriad of enhancements including central heating, ensuites, TV, games room, extensive fully equipped kitchen and modern heating.

Holme Station Homestead facilities include 6 King Size double bedrooms. Every bathroom is heated and features large spacious shower and bathtub, along with all the other luxury amenities you would expect in a modern house. Dining has always been the day's major social event at Holme Station Homestead, the main dining table seats 14 people, and is the perfect situation to have long slow celebration of life. El fresco dining is well catered for on the large patio, a great place to watch the sun go down and enjoy the evening skies. The Games Room is a great place catch up on world events on the large plasma television or challenge a few friends at pool. This is also the ideal special purpose room for your event or get together. Here you have plenty of space to put up a display or hold a training workshop, off to the side of the main lounge, reception and dining area, the Games Room can be easily reconfigured to suit specific needs.

Cancellation Policy: 1. A deposit of 50 % of the total nights booked confirms the rental period, with the full outstanding balance being due and payable prior to or on arrival. 2. The booking can be cancelled with no penalty if made in writing within seven( 7 ) days from the date of original confirmation of booking. 3. Bookings cancelled after seven ( 7 ) days and within sixty days ( 60 ) days prior to the start date of the booking will incur a cancellation fee of 20 % of the cost of the nights booked. 4. Bookings cancelled after sixty ( 60 ) days prior to the start date of the booking will ,forfeit the entire 50 % deposit ,and incur a fee of the remaining 50 % ,being the outstanding balance of the nights booked ,unless a replacement booking can be made, in which case a cancellation fee of 20 % of the total nights booked will apply.
